SUS Aluminum Award 2008

Application for the SUS Aluminum Award 2008 was closed on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. It is planned that the winners will be announced around mid-November this year.

Theme: Daily living evolves through aluminum

We are soliciting design proposals with the power to change daily living through utilizing the properties of aluminum.
Although the properties of aluminum have long been described as "light-weight, highly resistant to corrosion, and eminently recyclable," the material might just harbor additional, unexplored potential. Moreover, perhaps there are designs that appeal to the human emotions rather than merely pursue functionality.
We would like to hear your unique proposals for architecture, interior spaces, furniture and products, without necessarily being overly particular on an all aluminum construction.
